My name is Maurice Hall, and I am an accredited John Maxwell coach and trainer.

My background is a lifetime of commodity trading in a wide variety of goods, both locally and internationally, importing and exporting by road, sea, and air. I have been involved in the manufacture of products which were marketed locally and exported.

I have also intentionally maintained a healthy and active lifestyle, and have been a combative cyclist most of my life. (Refer to www.velogique.co.za)

These activities have converted into a broad and varied knowledge base.

I feel compelled to pass on the invaluable knowledge, experience and lessons learned during the years of trading and travel, and I have chosen the vehicle of coaching, teaching and training to do so.

After much evaluation, I chose the John Maxwell stable and am now a John Maxwell Certified Coach specialising in personal growth and leadership. This journey has transformed me and made me realise the great potential which each one of us has. It has also brought order in my life, has made sense of my past, brought clarity to the present, and given purpose to the future.

I cannot think of a greater purpose than helping leaders, by sharing this lifetime of evaluated experiences and intentional reflections.

My journey has not been smooth, but its many adventures have provided incredible opportunities to learn and grow.

Unfortunately for me I have not always learned the first time around, or at least I have not always acted each time there was a lesson to be learned. But I am encouraged by a George Bernard Shaw quote which says: “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honourable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.”

I have discovered that growth is the only guarantee that tomorrow will be better than today. My aim is to help entrepreneurs and business leaders learn from every opportunity available.

I specialise in areas of growth and leadership, using resources from the John Maxwell Leadership Institute as well as books on leadership, communication and growth written by John Maxwell himself.

John Maxwell, in case you don’t know about him, is a bestselling author, sought-after public speaker, incredible communicator, and voted as the number one leadership expert in the world. He is also an ordained pastor. He has been training leaders around the world for more than 50 years.

Every businessman I know wants to achieve better results, and every business leader I know needs a team of leaders around him. I believe that internal growth fuels performance goals. I am offering a series of Mastermind sessions based on John Maxwell’s books and resources, to small groups of leaders who are interested in growing themselves and their influence.
